I began working on this piece the day after George Floyd was murdered, and researched and worked on it during the summer and fall of 2020. It documents black persons killed by law enforcement, painted on bleached black jeans, with painted names and history. Also included: dyed fabric, zippers, metal jean parts. Quilted and machine stitched.
